“Whatever you do, whomever you meet or interact with, no matter how long you have been doing this or known these people, you are always auditioning!” said Tommy Europe, award-winning fitness coach this weekend at the Vancouver Wellness Show as he was presenting an Active Dad Panel – Balancing Fame, Fitness and Family with co-presenters Steve Darling 2017 BC Liberals Candidate and Mark Driesschen CTV Weather Anchor.

Such a great golden nugget to remember to never take anything or anybody for granted. Whenever you write, talk or do anything, always pretend you are auditioning for something and need to be your absolute best.

Mark Driesschen offered us a message about fear of failure. His biggest disappointments in his career turned up to be the best opportunities in his life. He referred to his radio days and the unfortunate end of this part of his life to be the pivoting point of his television ascension. “Never be afraid of failure”. So true and sometimes so hard to wrap our head around. We sometimes have to take a step back in order to see the opportunities.

Steve Darling warmed the audience with a great message of compassion. Being able to put yourself in someone else’s shoes will highly contribute to open doors for you.
