Who would want to be your friendAren’t we supposed to be the one person that we can count on, no matter what? Aren’t we supposed to be our own best friend? So why are we always bringing ourselves down in our heads?

Would you tell your friend, on a bad hair day: “You look so ugly”. Would you tell your friend that drops a cup on the floor: “You are such a slob”. Would you tell your friend that wears a pair of tight shorts: “You have a big butt” or “You are so fat!”  Would you tell your friend that arrives late at a dinner: “You are always late”. No you wouldn’t. You are very kind and polite and nice and supportive. So why talk to yourselves that way?

So put on your kind hat on all the time, specially when you talk to yourself. The negative self-thoughts are very limiting and set us back a lot more than we think. We are constantly programming our brain. Whatever you focus on will happen and your brain will always make you right. So be very careful what you want to be right about.
