2007. I was sitting in the living room of our condo in Toronto, crying. We had just gotten back from a month-long trip to New Zealand as a result of winning the grand title of Fitness Instructor of the Year in Canada. I was at the top of my game! I had a six pack, I could do push-ups on one arm and my fitness classes were packed. Somehow, I had the feeling that I had reached the Top of my Game and I was actually sad. I was thinking: “Is that it?” Why am I not feeling fulfilled? I was doing fitness on the side and I was working a full-time job that I liked but I did not love it. I was sad that my ‘part-time-passion’ could not be my full-time gig. I was sad that even at what I thought was the top of my game, was not enough to allow me to live from my passion. There had got to be a way. I was not wanting to accept my own limiting belief that work was work and fun was fun. And that you could not live from what you considered fun. What if instead, I turned towards others and figured out a way to make my passion for wellness and helping others become my business? That is when I started to study neuroscience and figured it out. I am now full time living my dream as a transformation expert, helping others through brain programming, life coaching, speaking, writing books and publishing. It wasn’t about me. I had to turn my gift towards helping others and that is when I understood the meaning that would give me the drive to push through obstacles.

When all the layers of our life are aligned and we live in a wanted environment, doing what we are good at and following our beliefs and values, then we can really feel like we are being who we are and living our real-life purpose.
Our life purpose is the reason why we were put on this earth. Who else are you serving? What is beyond yourself? Who else are you serving with your life? What cause is close to your heart?
When you live from your passion, it opens the door to a greater sense of Self-Mastery, which is almost always followed by leadership. At this point, there is no reason to compete with others (only ourselves). We can celebrate our own unique gifts as well as those of others. We can also recognize that there is a unifying oneness between us all. Knowledge translates into Wisdom and Hope turns into Faith. This level truly represents choice.
We understand that we are co-creators and co-conspirators in this game called Life. You know why you are here, what you are here to do, who you are here to serve (always a by-product of why + wisdom) and you live from your Life’s Purpose.
Your decisions are based on wisdom. People are naturally drawn to you as a leader, because you are living your Why with a strong sense of conviction. That inspires confidence, trust and safety. People want to be around you because your success emanates from a deep place within yourself. You are unwavering and uncompromising in your purpose and commitment to living from a place of authenticity.
