Having been a Life Coach for almost ten years, lots of people ask me questions about the difference between a Coach and a Therapist. Anthony Robbins had a great piece this morning explaining it. He defines Life Coaching as designed to help ambitious people proactively get more done. By addressing personal and professional problems, life coaches are able to clarify goals and focus on breaking patterns that are causing their clients to get stuck on
their paths to success.
As both of them defines goals, a life Coach improves performance, develops potention, is solution-oriented, gives direction while the therapist values healing, is problem-oriented, focuses on the past and diagnoses the problems.
As an NLP Master Practitioner and Life Coach, I position my services in the top portion with a quick twist on the therapist side simply for a minor clean up before being able to focus on the future. Just like when you do kitchen renovations, you must gut out the old kitchen before you install the new one!
Contact me now for your free 15 min. call or if you are interested in becoming a coach as I am now a Master Trainer for the Certified Coaches Federation and can certify you as a coach in my upcoming courses.
