We&rsquo;re going to be talking today about five ways to be more confident at work. The very first one is to tell yourself&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>1. <b>\u00ab\u00a0I just don&rsquo;t know this yet.\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"23635\" width=\"341\" data-init-width=\"1624\" height=\"440\" data-init-height=\"2091\" title=\"healthboosting1\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thinkyourself.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/healthboosting1.jpg?resize=341%2C440&#038;quality=89&#038;ssl=1\" data-width=\"341\" data-height=\"440\" style=\"aspect-ratio: auto 1624 \/ 2091;\" mt-d=\"-42\" ml-d=\"0\" center-v-d=\"false\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Whether you are an entrepreneur or an employee, there might be something you don&rsquo;t know yet, and it&rsquo;s okay. Very often, this causes for us to be less confident, because if we don&rsquo;t know something, we feel like a loser. It&rsquo;s okay: You just don&rsquo;t know this <em>yet<\/em>, and there&rsquo;s a way for you to learn. Get at it!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Get to learning. Be a learner and say: \u00ab\u00a0Teach me. Okay, I don&rsquo;t know how to do this. Can somebody help? Please.\u00a0\u00bb Asking for help will never diminish your strength. It helps you grow!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><span><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"23681\" width=\"393\" data-init-width=\"2560\" height=\"234\" data-init-height=\"1526\" title=\"confidentatwork2\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thinkyourself.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/confidentatwork2-scaled.jpg?resize=393%2C234&#038;quality=89&#038;ssl=1\" data-width=\"393\" data-height=\"234\" style=\"aspect-ratio: auto 2560 \/ 1526;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>2. <b>It&rsquo;s Called&nbsp;Work<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 17px !important;\">It&rsquo;s okay if you don&rsquo;t end each day feeling like you had a blast. Yes, there will be some days where you will get home at night and say: \u00ab\u00a0Well, I&rsquo;ve had some good days, but today wasn&rsquo;t one.\u00a0\u00bb It&rsquo;s fine! Not every day needs to be a party. It&rsquo;s called \u00ab\u00a0work\u00a0\u00bb. Being in the mindset that some days just won&rsquo;t be as great may make you feel better. Bad days make you appreciate more the next days when things are better.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>3. <b>It&rsquo;s A One-Time Deal<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"23677\" width=\"393\" data-init-width=\"2560\" height=\"289\" data-init-height=\"1883\" title=\"confidenceatwork3\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thinkyourself.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/confidenceatwork3-scaled.jpg?resize=393%2C289&#038;quality=89&#038;ssl=1\" data-width=\"393\" data-height=\"289\" style=\"aspect-ratio: auto 2560 \/ 1883;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you make a mistake, if something is going on in your head, just tell yourself it&rsquo;s temporary. \u00ab\u00a0It&rsquo;s a one-time deal. I made a mistake. It&rsquo;s fine. I can catch up now. I can do something different next time. This is an exception. It almost never happens! Now, I can apply myself and I can fix this.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Whenever you drop the ball or you make a mistake that causes for you to feel less confident, reassure yourself by using these words. You&rsquo;ll do better next time!<\/p>\n<p><span><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"23641\" width=\"393\" data-init-width=\"2554\" height=\"320\" data-init-height=\"2083\" title=\"healthboosting4\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thinkyourself.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/healthboosting4.jpg?resize=393%2C320&#038;quality=89&#038;ssl=1\" data-width=\"393\" data-height=\"320\" style=\"aspect-ratio: auto 2554 \/ 2083;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>4.<b>&nbsp;Set the \u00ab\u00a0Normal\u00a0\u00bb You Want<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Set the \u00ab\u00a0normal\u00a0\u00bb that you want. Maybe your work has changed, maybe your business has changed. Maybe the industry that you&rsquo;re in has changed. Sometimes, we are forced to live a normal that is much different than what it used to be, and we feel nostalgic, longing for how it was in the past.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Well, you can set the normal you want. You decide how you set your thermostat. For example, if you feel like you used to be a lot less stressed, it means you can still choose to feel that way, even with everything that is happening. You decide what you want your normal to be.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.<b>&nbsp;\u00ab\u00a0Work well done makes me feel good.\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"23679\" width=\"393\" data-init-width=\"2560\" height=\"323\" data-init-height=\"2105\" title=\"confidenceatwork5\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thinkyourself.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/confidenceatwork5-scaled.jpg?resize=393%2C323&#038;quality=89&#038;ssl=1\" data-width=\"393\" data-height=\"323\" style=\"aspect-ratio: auto 2560 \/ 2105;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Often, things that make us feel good are things that aren&rsquo;t necessarily connected to work. They may even me bad for our health. If you had a bad day at work, instead of saying: \u00ab\u00a0Oh, I can&rsquo;t wait for the weekend\u00a0\u00bb, or: \u00ab\u00a0I can&rsquo;t wait for my glass of wine tonight\u00a0\u00bb, think about rewiring yourself so that you change the definition of what makes you feel good.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If work makes you feel bad, then find something you do at work that makes you feel good. Here&rsquo;s an example of what you could say: \u00ab\u00a0When I apply myself and when I focus on my job, I&rsquo;m actually really good at what I do. I have the skills, and it makes me feel good to be using these skills.\u00a0\u00bb Use your work as the way to make you feel good!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now, let&rsquo;s reverse the cards. Something happens in your personal life, and you think: \u00ab\u00a0Oh, I can&rsquo;t wait to be at work so that I can make myself feel better.\u00a0\u00bb If you create something that makes you feel good at work, then work will make you feel good, and therefore you&rsquo;ll feel a lot more confident with what you do. You&rsquo;ll feel more confident with your business, with your clients, with your coworkers, with your boss, or with whomever you&rsquo;re interacting with.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I hope this helped you ditch the doubt and filled your toolbox with different strategies to boost your confidence in the workplace.
