Should we be spending time making money or spending money making time? To help answer this question, I have to bring you back eight years ago. I was working hard. I was successful, making a lot of money… But I could never spend some time with the kids, nor with my husband. I was working really hard, and yes, I was successful, but at the end of the day, I thought: \u00ab\u00a0There might be a better way for me to do my business, because this is not the dream life I thought it would be.\u00a0\u00bb Keep reading or watch the video below for more…<\/p>\n

I had to take a step back to reflect. I was looking at my life, thinking: \u00ab\u00a0Oh wow, is this what I wanted? My life of being an entrepreneur, not even being able to take a week off?\u00a0\u00bb Since then, I’ve done a lot of things to rearrange my business. I created different systems. Technology and I became friends. There are lots of things that I had to do in order to be able to work only eight months a year and still have money coming in when I’m away. But first, I had to change things in my head.<\/p>\n

Back in the days where I was falling asleep brushing my teeth and thinking: \u00ab\u00a0Whoa, this is not the life I want\u00a0\u00bb, I realized two major things that I’d like to share with you today.<\/p>\n

THE VALUE OF MONEY<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first one is the value of money. When you work hard because you’re starting a business or you have a job that you go to every day to make money, try asking yourself what the value of money actually is for you. What do you do with it? The end goal is not the money. The end goal is what you’re going to do when you get that money.<\/p>\n

Maybe that money will allow you to spend more time with your close ones. If that’s the case, then you may want to spend more money making time than you want to spend time making money. That makes sense, doesn’t it?<\/p>\n

THE VALUE OF TIME<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second thing I really had to ask myself was: \u00ab\u00a0What is the value of time for me? How important is time for me?\u00a0\u00bb As some loved ones around us are aging, I know how valuable time with these people is for me. I had to spend money making time!<\/p>\n

There are ways to reorganize your life. There are ways to change the way you see money and time. There are ways, if you are an entrepreneur like me, to change the way you do business so that you can still feel and be successful, as well as have more time on your hands. By the way, not that it matters, but I make a lot more money now than I was making back then when I was working like a dog and barely sleeping… But that’s not the point. The point is when you start knowing what’s important to you, how you see money and how you see time, you then start seeing things very differently and you start choosing how you spend your time and how you spend your money.<\/p>\n
