In <a href=\"https:\/\/thinkyourself.com\/who-invented-stress\" style=\"outline: none;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PART ONE<\/a>, we went over who exactly invented stress and when the word was coined, as well as what happens in our brain when we feel stressed.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thinkyourself.com\/5-strategies-to-reduce-stress\" style=\"outline: none;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PART TWO<\/a> was all about strategies to reduce stress. Today, we&rsquo;re going to see 22 different powerful questions that you can ask yourself on the spot to face stress, when it&rsquo;s happening, while it&rsquo;s happening. Keep reading or watch the video to know more&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We&rsquo;re busy. The world is changing, fast. We have to juggle with many things at once, and the accumulation of all these little tiny stressors is what we&rsquo;re fighting. It&rsquo;s not the one little thing. I&rsquo;ve mentioned this joke in one of my previous blogs. The guy enters the bar and he orders three beers and he drinks them all. Then he orders two beers, drinks them both. Orders one beer, drinks it and then says: \u00ab\u00a0I don&rsquo;t understand. The less I drink, the more drunk I get.\u00a0\u00bb But we get it, right? It&rsquo;s because of the accumulation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Just like as I&rsquo;m recording this, we are in Palm Desert and we drive here from Vancouver. On the first day, we drive for 12 hours. The second day, for 8 hours, and on the third day, we drive for 4 hours. And on the third day, after a 4-hour drive, we&rsquo;re more tired than on the day we drove for 12! Of course, you understand. It&rsquo;s because on the third day, we&rsquo;ve been in the car for over 24 hours already.<\/p>\n<p><span><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"20580\" width=\"576\" data-init-width=\"928\" height=\"629\" data-init-height=\"629\" title=\"Screen Shot 2023-04-27 at 11.21.31 AM\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thinkyourself.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Screen-Shot-2023-04-27-at-11.21.31-AM.png?resize=576%2C629&#038;quality=80&#038;ssl=1\" data-width=\"576\" style=\"aspect-ratio: auto 928 \/ 629;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The same thing goes for life. We are accumulating stuff in our drawer. There&rsquo;s us, at the bottom of the drawer with all our great answers, us at our very best. When you live through an experience and it does not get resolved, it accumulates in your drawer and when you open the drawer, you respond with all that junk. My job is to help people empty this drawer from the accumulated bad habits, negative emotions, anger, fear, hurt, sadness, guilt, trauma, and limiting beliefs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Without any further ado, here are 22 powerful questions that you can ask yourself on the spot as you are experiencing some stress. Step number one, before any of these questions: Breathe. Just breathe, relax, and then go through your questions.<\/p>\n<p><span><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"20578\" width=\"623\" data-init-width=\"2560\" height=\"1505\" data-init-height=\"1505\" title=\"Serenity and yoga practicing,meditation at mountain range\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thinkyourself.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/AdobeStock_199916229-scaled.jpeg?resize=623%2C1505&#038;quality=89&#038;ssl=1\" data-width=\"623\" style=\"aspect-ratio: auto 2560 \/ 1505;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. <b>\u00ab\u00a0What is this really about?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>&nbsp;Potentially, there&rsquo;s something beyond it. It&rsquo;s the accumulation. This little thing is not it. What is this really about? What is accumulated in the drawer?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0What is triggering this?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0What else is accumulated in my drawer?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0What have I learned from the past?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>&nbsp;More likely, we can compare this situation with something that has already happened. Figure out what you have learned from your previous similar experiences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0How was it a good thing?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>&nbsp;The thing that you&rsquo;ve learned in the past, the similar situation that you experienced, there probably was a good side to it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0How can I accept the past?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b> How can I accept it or what do I have to let go of? Usually, it&rsquo;s something we have to take in or something we have to let go.<\/p>\n<p><span><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"20576\" width=\"692\" data-init-width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" data-init-height=\"1080\" title=\"22questions.1\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thinkyourself.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/22questions.1.jpeg?resize=692%2C1080&#038;quality=89&#038;ssl=1\" data-width=\"692\" style=\"aspect-ratio: auto 1920 \/ 1080;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7. <b>\u00ab\u00a0Am I making this up?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>&nbsp;Let&rsquo;s say that you have just a headache. You start Googling it and then you think you have a brain tumor. Well, just drink a glass of water, go to bed early and more likely, your headache&rsquo;s going to be gone tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">8.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0Is this another one of those things that I worry about that is never going to happen?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>&nbsp;Sometimes, it is never even going to happen. We worry about something that is not going to happen!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">9.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0What other story can I make up that would support me instead?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b> We&rsquo;re making up something here. You \u00ab\u00a0should have\u00a0\u00bb all over yourself, but it has happened already. It&rsquo;s done.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">11.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0Will worrying about it change what happened?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>&nbsp;Probably not.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">12.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0Will my &lsquo;should haves&rsquo; change the past?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">13.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0How do I move forward and fix it now?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">14.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0What is the next step?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">15.&nbsp;<\/span><b><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">\u00ab\u00a0What can I do to help all this right now?\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"20582\" width=\"692\" data-init-width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" data-init-height=\"1080\" title=\"video_image-DQqs2NL5m\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thinkyourself.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/video_image-DQqs2NL5m.jpeg?resize=692%2C1080&#038;quality=89&#038;ssl=1\" data-width=\"692\" style=\"aspect-ratio: auto 1920 \/ 1080;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">16. <b>\u00ab\u00a0Am I sleeping right?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">17.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0Did I eat well today?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">18.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0Am I taking care of myself?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">19.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0Is it possible that this is just a minor health problem that will be gone tomorrow?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>&nbsp;Because potentially, the things we worry about are small little things. And the healthier we are, the more we can face those stresses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">20.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0Is there any logical answer to this random issue that I&rsquo;m thinking about so that I can get it off my mind?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">21.&nbsp;<b>\u00ab\u00a0Can I make a list of everything I need in order to figure this out?\u00a0\u00bb Or: \u00ab\u00a0What are the steps that I need to take?\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">22.<b>&nbsp;\u00ab\u00a0Can I deal with it later?\u00a0\u00bb&nbsp;<\/b>We&rsquo;ve seen that in part number two. Postpone stressing about it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These questions will help you when you are on the spot, just about to stress, and of course, you are always welcome to refer back to them. Review all these questions, write them down, use them, and remember: Start by breathing. Have a fantastic week, everyone, and start loving your life. Remember that also, that means loving your work, because work is part of your life. It&rsquo;s not either\/or.
